Private Investigator Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How quickly can you start an investigation?

A: We are a twenty-four a day private investigation agency. We can generally start on your case with an hours’ notice after you submit the required forms and retainer deposit. It is all dependent on how quickly our clients can fill out our Case Information Form and submit the retainer deposit, all of which can be easily done on or web site using your personal computer, tablet device or smart phone.

Q: How much does it cost to hire a private investigator?

A: Unlike many of our competitors we do not have set rates, which saves our clients’ money. Our hourly rate is calculated based on information collected from our Price Quote Form found on our web site. Once we review the information regarding your case we can give you our custom hourly price quote for your case. The more detailed the information you provide us the lower our hourly rate will be and a bigger potential for savings. Vehicle mileage, administrative time and copies of video evidence are all included in the hourly rate.

Q: Do your private investigators use spy ware and other devices to listen in on phone conversations intercept test messages and spy on computer use?

A: It is against the Florida law to use any device to monitor or record these private communications without the subjects consent. There a few exceptions: 1.) A law enforcement investigation being conducted with a court order. 2.) Employer’s monitoring the communications their employee’s using company communication devices while on the job. Employers should always consult with a qualified attorney before proceeding.

Q: Will anyone know that I hired a private investigator?

A: All our clients information is kept strictly confidential as required by Florida law and will never be shared with anyone unless our client request that we disclose information and provides us written consent.

Q: Will the subject of the investigation know that they are being watched?

A: Our surveillance investigations are 100% confidential and our investigators are highly experienced in the art of remaining undetected. We do everything necessary to insure the covert nature of the investigation. If we ever perceive that the integrity of the investigation is threatened, we back off and re-evaluate with your input. Our chase research has found that the biggest threat to the secrecy of a domestic investigation is our clients telling numerous family members and friends that they have hired a private investigator. It is inevitable that someone will leak information back to the subject of the investigation. Also never threaten a spouse or significant other that you will hire a private investigator to watch them. This will only make the subject more secretive and make in extremely difficult for our private investigators to monitor their activities.
